About Krato Sports

Krato Sports was founded out of a simple need: a bat weight that sits where it actually matters — just above the hands.

After more than 25 years of coaching and instructing, a baseball coach expressed this need to the father of a player he was giving lessons to. Together, they developed the Krato Bat Weight, the only bat weight designed to attach above the hands while allowing placement at any position below the barrel. The result was a training tool built to improve swing efficiency, feel, and performance.

The success of the Krato Bat Weight — and the consistently positive feedback from players and instructors — led to the expansion of Krato Sports. What began as a single innovative product grew into a full lineup of high-quality training aids and custom gear, helping make Krato one of the fastest-growing brands in baseball.
